Multi-color Mile-A-Minute Afghan: $207.48
This crocheted afghan is made with Caron Simply Soft. This afghan measures approx. 76” x 68”. As with all home crocheted or knitted items, you may find loose ends that have popped out (but will not unravel - weaving in ends was never my strong point), dog hair, &/or MY hair & has been displayed on & off on our sofa pending sale ... but this item will be professionally cleaned before being professionally shipped out to you.

Good afternoon everyone. Well, I feel complete again. My DayTimer refill came yesterday & it's nice to have it back. I've been using one for SO long that being without one is just ... too weird for me. lol! I finished the center panel on the machine knit afghan yesterday. Only 2 more panels to go! I was doing great on my schedule since cleaning up my facebook & was a couple hours ahead ... right up until I logged into the Llama Land Minecraft server. I was on that server for 5½ hours yesterday! That wasn't intentional ... I was mining under my house & ran into an abandoned mineshaft & a bunch of caves. I eventually managed to add a screened porch onto my house after all the exploring, sorting, & smelting. Then it was Sims 3 time. I loaded up the Business career game & my Sim went to work for the 1st time. I had her power work, but she burned out about halfway through the day. She was super stressed & overworked. The 2nd half of the day she sucked up to the boss, improving that needed relationship. When she finally got home, she was too depressed to do anything at all. I couldn't even get her to read a book. Cooking was completely out of the question, so I had her & hubby go to the Bistro for dinner. The waiter brought her the wrong food & I was asked if I wanted to keep it or send it back. Well, crap. My Sim is already on the verge of throwing herself off a bridge & now this? Ugh. I decided to keep the food even though it was wrong. It turned out to be the best meal my Sim ever had & increased my mood by +75 for the next week! SWEET!! Today I worked on the crocheted sweater for a little bit while watching Friends & then the Cables & Twists knit afghan while watching Ice Age: Collision Course. Have a great day & weekend everyone!

Bavarian Crochet Primaries Lapghan: $51.87
This crocheted afghan is made with Red Heart yarns. This afghan measures approx. 37" square.

Good afternoon everyone! Well, I got up an hour late but am 2 hours ahead of schedule. I finally fixed it ... it was facebook. Well, facebook groups to be more specific. I was in SO many groups that my feed was flooded. I love doxies & was in a bunch of doxie groups & was looking at pictures of cute dogs all day. That was great, but that was also keeping me from getting much done. I left a LOT of groups last night & cleaned up my facebook a lot. What a huge difference that made! I also now don't have notifications going of every 3 seconds that someone commented on a photo that I commented on. I know I could have turned that off, but I never remembered to. I'd have to do it on each post that I commented on immediately after commenting. Anyhoo ... life is good today. Rough night last night. One of the kids decided to unload 2 decades of grievances on us & of course, everything wrong in their lives is my fault. I had a really rough evening last night, but what's past is past & there's nothing I can do about it now. If they want to hang onto this stuff to the grave, then there's nothing I can do about that. My childhood had issues too, but I let it go. I remember the good things & my life is much happier for it. Dwelling on the things you didn't like 15 years ago won't do anything but make you unhappy today. Don't dwell on the past, remember the good & make TODAY a good day. Have a great day everyone!

This machine knit afghan is made with Frostee yarn in Shrimp & Lion Brand Pound of Love in Lavender. This afghan measures approx. 74" x 52". Good afternoon everyone! Slow day today. I'm pretty far behind, but that's ok. Nothing too unusual. I completed the 2nd of 5 panels on the machine knit afghan, moved the patio on my Naschott Minecraft server, & started a game in the Spring Designer Showdown house in Sims 3 where my Sim upgraded the living room coffee table. Today I worked on my Fantasy Garden crocheted afghan while watching an episode of Dr. Who & then spent almost 3 great hours working on my Cables & Twists knit afghan while watching the Dark Knight Rises. Have a great day everyone!

This afghan measures approx. 60" x 50". Good afternoon everyone! Well, here I am on 3 hours' sleep. Oh man I'm tired. It was the only way to reset my schedule back to normal though after this weekend. We stayed up WAY too late over the weekend. I started the 1st panel of the new machine knitted afghan & it looks great. I love Simply Soft Yarn! After that I logged into my Modern Millenaire Minecraft server & stayed on that until oh ... about 5:30 in the morning. Like I said, I had to reset my schedule. Setting my alarm for only 3½ hours later really hurt, but was needed. Anyway, after being on the server all night, the Millenaire village that my house is in is almost completely finished. It's huge & looks like a full town now. I even worked my way up into getting them to build me the largest player house that they build for you & I love it! It's SO nice & I got really lucky that it's on the same side of town as the house I had built myself. Completely straight path from my house to the house they built me. Get ready for a lot of screenshots:
 Looking south
 Looking West
 Looking North
 Looking East
View of the town from the rooftop of the house they built me
The house they built me is on a lake & this is my view with my back to the town
Somewhere in between all the Minecraft I did squeak in a little Sims 3 time & had to delete yet another game. A player build called Lakeside Mansion that required a 64 x 64 lot & there was no way to do that without deleting the park in town. The town I was in had no residential homes on 64 x 64 lots or I would have just replaced one of those. I wasn't deleting the park. I ended up loading a game I already had running (which is rare because I have SO many games & am starting over on most all of them). Last night my Sim swapped out the kitchen lights to nicer ones than the lot came with. This morning I worked on my crochet sweater a little while watching the pilot episode of The Flash & then spent some time on my Lamar knit scarf while watching This Is Us. Later I'll work on the 2nd of 5 panels on the machine knitted afghan & tonight I'll spend a little time on my Naschott Minecraft server. Have a great day everyone!

1. A shortcut to any website.
Whatever you type into the URL bar can be surrounded by www. & .com by pressing control + enter.

2. An easy way to browse photos on a subreddit hands-free.
When viewing picture based subreddits, add a “p” into the url like so: redditp.com/r/subreddit to get a picture slideshow of the posts on that subreddit. This is particularly useful when you want to browse a picture based subreddit ahemhands-free.

3. A shortcut to downloading music.
Type -inurl:(htm|html|php) intitle:”index of” +”last modified” +”parent directory” +description +size +(wma|mp3) “weezer” into a google search bar. And for other searches, replace “weezer” with whatever you’re looking for. It finds music downloads on public ftp and http sites.

4. How to do a reverse image search.
Hold S and right click an image to do reverse image search in Chrome.

5. How to skip the boring intros of most Youtube videos.
The Wadsworth constant, which was proposed by /u/wadsworth, states that the first 30% of any YouTube instructional video is skippable. YouTube added it as a feature. Tutorial video? Add ?wadsworth=1 to the end of the URL and skip the awkward introduction by the host about their hobbies, genetic history, what they had for breakfast, and the explanation you could have gathered from the video’s title.

6. How to restore a closed browser.
ctrl + shift + T Opens up the last tab you closed.

7. How to make your cursor move by words.
Most of the good ones are gone, but, holding control makes your cursor move by full words, instead of by characters. So CTRL + backspace will delete the entire previous word. CTRL + arrow keys will jump to the start of the previous word.

8. A shortcut to highlighting a URL.
CTRL + L highlights the url/address bar in Chrome.

9. How to access private Youtube videos and subscription-only sites.
If a YouTube video is marked as private I’m pretty sure you can gain access simply by deleting the “watch?” In the URL.
I didn’t include this before because I never personally tried it, but I’ve heard that if you remove the “?” In a New York Times online URL you can avoid having to buy a subscription or whatever they want you to pay for.

10. The new “cntrl+Alt+delete.”
Don’t hit control+alt+delete, hit control+shift+escape to go directly to the task manager.

11. How to stop a distracting GIF.
One weird trick is pressing ESC to halt animated GIFs that are distracting. Animators hate me.

12. How to switch between open windows.
So many don’t know about alt-tab, which lets you switch between open applications quickly. It changed my life.

13. A shortcut to reenabling browser right-click.
Putting the following into a favorite/shortcut on the toolbar re-enables browser right click. Good for sites that disable it to stop you stealing pictures, or if their own right click context menu is buggy. javascript:void(document.oncontextmenu=null)

14. How to open up an incognito window (and what it’s good for).
I’m positive everyone knows this, but ctrl + shift + n opens up an incognito mode tab on chrome. You can browse freely being sure that nothing of what you do is saved in browsing or downloads history. No cookies either.

15. A simple way to clear your cache.
CTRL + SHIFT + R = Clear cache and then refresh page.

16. How to access a blocked subreddit.
If certain subreddits are blocked at your school or work you can type the subreddit name with a + at the end of it. ex. /r/AskReddit+

17. Apparently, plug-ins are what’s up.
Plug-ins make your internet experience 100x better: YouTube Center: allows you to customize YouTube to your liking, auto HD, remove annotations, and other annoying things that normal people have to adjust every time they watch a video.
Imagus: allows you to view images by just hovering over the link. Works great for reddit.
AdBlock: Everyone should know about this already. Blocks ads. Allows you to whitelist sites that have tasteful, non-intrusive ads (like reddit).

18. An alternative way to pause a Youtube video.
Tired of hitting spacebar to pause a YouTube video and having it scroll down a page instead? Hit “k” instead.

19. How to access paywall sites.
For websites like washingtonpost.com that allow you a certain number of free stories per month before you hit a paywall, just delete the cookies from the site and it will reset your count. Alternatively, you can browse it in incognito mode (yes it’s useful for more than porn).

20. A fast and easy way to track your UPS package.
If you Google a UPS tracking number, it will link you right to the tracking page for your package.

21. How to excise words from a Google search.
When searching things in Google, you can type a minus sign and then the word you don’t want (-stuff) to remove that word from the search.

22. How to make Google do a barrel roll.
Googling “do a barrel roll” results in a barrel roll on Google.

23. How to access video websites that are restricted in your country.
Youtube video or website not available in your country? Try https://hola.org/ lets you proxy from a different country really easily.

24. A hidden game in Google images.
A lot of people probably already know this, but … Go to Google. Type in Atari Breakout. Go to Images. Enjoy.

25. How to make Google look off-balance.
Try searching “tilt” in the address bar in chrome… Google engineers must have fun. :)

26. A website that usually has discounts on everything.
Always check retailmenot.com for coupons before buying anything online.

27. How to find an updated version of a now-dead website page.
Run into an old, dead link? Copy the url to archive.org… they often have a preserved copy.

Tri-Color Throw 2 Afghan: $61.84
This machine knit Tri-Color Throw 2 has a crochet border & is made with Brunswick Heatherblend Sport in Mauve Lilac Heather, Lion Brand Jiffy Print in Detroit, & Patons North America Decor in Aqua. The afghan measures approx. 61" x 39". As will all home crocheted or knitted items, you may find loose ends that have popped out (but will not unravel - weaving in ends was never my strong point), dog hair, &/or MY hair & has been displayed on & off on our sofa pending sale ... but this item will be professionally cleaned before being professionally shipped out to you.

Good evening everyone! I finished the machine knit afghan yesterday & decided not to put a border on it. Tonight I start the same afghan on the machine, but with a different brand of yarn & different colors. I didn't play Minecraft yesterday, I was supposed to log into the Vitalcraft server but they still have the server set to whitelist & not open to the public & they didn't answer my dm in Twitter, so I just skipped it alltogether. I tried to start a new Sims 3 game in the Modern Celebrity home by Curtis Paradis, but the lot wouldn't place correctly. He doesn't say which town & address it was created on & because of the terrain changes, it's unplayable unless you know exactly where to place it. I instead started up a different game & gave my Sim a new outfit. It would look great if my Sim lost weight ... she's too fat to get away with anything that shows skin.
Today I worked on my Fantasy Garden crocheted afghan for a little bit while watching an episode of Dr. Who & then my favorite entrelac knitted afghan while watching Twilight. Today had a special surprise visit by a friend of mine from my fire department days. It's always good to see friends! I wish I could invite people in instead of standing on the front porch & sweating, but my dogs are insane. Small, but insane. I don't mind hanging out outside, but I feel like I'm being rude by never inviting anyone in. I sure hope they understand & don't take it as an insult. I think the sound of 3 nutball dogs trying to chew through the front door might help them understand that it's not personal at all. Have a great evening everyone!
