October 8, 2013

Good morning! Yesterday I got the mail, baked cinnamon rolls for us, cleaned the house, took my last walk around the mile & a half loop, which is too bad because the weather is beautiful, but there are too many loose dogs that aren't friendly & neighbors who own those dogs who just watch as the dog races towards you, teeth bared & barking, off of their property & across the street. Nope, the police need to get involved. We have leash laws in this town. What amazes me is that they just watched ... they didn't call their dogs, they JUST WATCHED as their dogs came at me. Anyway, after my final walk outside this beautiful fall season, I went to work. I listed a bunch of items for sale & then re-opened my eBay store. It's been years, but it was just as I had left it. I had to go in & change the item categories, delete a couple of pages, upload a store photo, etc. It's nice to have my store back. I took my lunch break, took the dogs out & made Frito pies for us, & then hubby got home from work. Yesterday's Sims game was Padronale di Gerrard & my Sim Aaron has been working on his gardening. Once he catches up he'll start having a social life. This morning I took the dogs out & loaded up LizC864 7. My Sim Orlando just enrolled in the university towards & science & medicine degree. He's been working on his skills & will be going to class.

Hit the flea market near closing time. You can find a good price on items that vendors don't want to haul home again.

Many people haven't really experienced even a moderate degree of synergy in their family life or in other interactions. They've been trained & scripted into defensive & protective communications or into believing that life or other people can't be trusted.

Mayflower colonists decided to land at Plymouth Rock because the ship ran out of beer. Why beer? Because it stayed drinkable far longer than water on a long ocean journey.

Now is a good time to work on your charm, so don't tell people about your flea problem. Not until you know them better anyway.

We've had some problems out here in California for people who live on the cliffs ... During the rain ... some of the people lost their homes. And do you know people still go out & will build a home on a cliff out here? We may do away with busing out here. Whatthey're going to do - they'll have the children sit in their houses & they'll slide to a racially balanced school. -Johnny Carson 1978
