Good afternoon everyone. Well, I feel complete again. My DayTimer refill came yesterday & it's nice to have it back. I've been using one for SO long that being without one is just ... too weird for me. lol! I finished the center panel on the machine knit afghan yesterday. Only 2 more panels to go! I was doing great on my schedule since cleaning up my facebook & was a couple hours ahead ... right up until I logged into the Llama Land Minecraft server. I was on that server for 5½ hours yesterday! That wasn't intentional ... I was mining under my house & ran into an abandoned mineshaft & a bunch of caves. I eventually managed to add a screened porch onto my house after all the exploring, sorting, & smelting. Then it was Sims 3 time. I loaded up the Business career game & my Sim went to work for the 1st time. I had her power work, but she burned out about halfway through the day. She was super stressed & overworked. The 2nd half of the day she sucked up to the boss, improving that needed relationship. When she finally got home, she was too depressed to do anything at all. I couldn't even get her to read a book. Cooking was completely out of the question, so I had her & hubby go to the Bistro for dinner. The waiter brought her the wrong food & I was asked if I wanted to keep it or send it back. Well, crap. My Sim is already on the verge of throwing herself off a bridge & now this? Ugh. I decided to keep the food even though it was wrong. It turned out to be the best meal my Sim ever had & increased my mood by +75 for the next week! SWEET!! Today I worked on the crocheted sweater for a little bit while watching Friends & then the Cables & Twists knit afghan while watching Ice Age: Collision Course. Have a great day & weekend everyone!

Blog Today:
The previous blog post above was from Kyle's birthday. Damn I miss him! Yesterday was relatively uneventful. I was busy but still got a lot done. I was on the phone with the detective on my son's case who said the scene was confusing to them, also. They got nothin'. Was he standing? Kneeling? Which direction was he facing? No one knows. I couldn't figure it out from the photos & neither could they. Since it wasn't a murder, they don't have the time or the resources to do a full investigation to try to answer all the questions we all have & I get that. It would be a lot of time & effort only to satisfy curiosity. I spent some time looking into forensics classes yesterday, specifically blood patterns. Maybe I can learn enough to answer some of the questions myself because the more I look at the photos, the more confused I get. I also spent a lot of time looking at houses online for my friend who is house shopping. After going through all of the houses they're looking at, I started looking at houses for me & Pete, just to see what was available in the area my friend is moving to. I found some nice houses. I also stumbled across a doublewide with a full basement. I've never heard of that before. Someone actually sat a mobile home on top of a basement. I guess the house that was originally with it was torn down & they decided to keep it in place. That was pretty neat.

Craft:
I didn't craft yesterday because I was busy most of the day.

Game of the Day:
Sims 3 made me cry last night. I loaded up the game that was our home & family which now is just me & Pete. I found Kyle in town & moved him back into our home. I miss him. Seeing him in the game made me miss him more. Today I'm just going to play Bubble Shooter & take a break from the more involved games.

Home:
The home location I'd like to concentrate on improving today is shopping for home stuff on Etsy.

Reading:

  • Intuitive & Spiritual: The intuitive & spiritual maximums (100%) promotes spiritual connection, evolution, and development. This is a good time for making correct intuitive decisions. During this time, inspiration and intuition are at their peak.
  • Emotional: My emotional rhythm is at only 8% today. The emotional minimum is characterized by a decrease in desires and a tendency toward depression, apathy, and irritability (usually women are more strongly affected). This is a difficult period for creative people, due to feelings of apathy. For the same reason, this period is not conducive to love.
  • Day: Today is a day for Cooperation, Diplomacy, Flexibility, Joining with others, Partner time, Peace keeping, & Sharing.
  • Month: Compassion, Creative / Crafting, Harmony, Home, Love, Security, & Simple Pleasures.
  • Year: Change, Discovery, Freedom, & Travel.
