► November 26, 2013 🎸

Good morning! Another perfect day yesterday & lots of company. Not company, but lots of people stopped by. I made biscuits & gravy for breakfast, cleaned the house, the mailman had a package for me that wouldn't fit in the mailbox, then my Avon box got delivered, then the dog catcher came for that stray that was on our back porch for 24 hours,I sent out the grocery list, took the dogs out, tried to have lunch but a company changed the recipe again & didn't state that fact on the label. What I
ended up with was a super hot & spicy version of a canned kid's lunch. WTH?! What's with the spice? It was so bad that I couldn't even eat it. I checked out the Social button on dish & found that it's pretty cool. You connect with your facebook &/or Twitter account & then it pulls up all current comments &/or Tweets on the current channel or show that your watching. SWEET! So if I'm watching a show & pull up Social, I can still watch the show, but I'll also see all comments my friends are making if they're also currently watching that show. I can join in & chat while watching. COOL! I downloaded a 1Note template that's a cute Thanksgiving Day dinner checklist, then our fire chief stopped by for a minute. We now have $100 worth of Omaha Steaks stocked up & ... YUM! I then sat down & worked on my woven cable raglan sweater. It's almost finished now. Less than an inch to go on the bottom ribbing, then I do the ribbing on the neck & sleeves & it's done! It's beautiful (2nd pic). Yesterday's Sims game was 44 Elm Ave. My favorite "real-life" house in Sims. What I mean by that is I have favorite houses in Sims, but they're all mansions or too extravagant for real life. 44 Elm Ave is a house that is real life do-able. Just a normal house ... in the style that I'd love to own & live in. My Sim Ferris is working on random skills to better himself & is going to work. The game crashed halfway through, so I didn't play too much yesterday. This morning I took the dogs out & loaded up my inventor career game. My Sim Lewis Riffin has just graduated high school & has to attend graduation today. Lewis is already a level 8 (of 10) inventor. Only 2 levels to go ... not bad for the 1st day of his young adult life.

Because astronauts can't simply open the window for extra ventilation at the International Space Station, NASA employs a "chief sniffer." George Aldrich smells everything before it's flown in the space shuttle, in case it has a bad odor.

Get ready for the "3 F's" - food, family, & freeloaders. The good news is right after "F" comes the 3 "G's" - gifts, glitter, & gravy.
